When it comes to Time management and Organisation I am not really the best person to talk to but this year I am hoping to be better this year in terms of getting finding time to get my assignments done and understand when everything is due and when the best time to do it depending on the work load.I think I am doing fine right now with my current strategy which is I do one everyday as it comes but I have been having a new change of pace this year because I have joined multiple clubs and different activities which is a new transition because even when I did not have other curricular activities I was struggling to get my assignments done and in on time.

How do I intend to manage with this class?

I think for me to manage my work load I would have to time myself out with topics and subjects and pick a day where I finish early and do not have much to do within that day and spend 4-6 hours on assignments because of the overload work that may be due on the same day. I would also try to use the calendar on moodle to see when things are going to be due so I can know how to manage it or move it to a certain day. I like the fact that in some courses we have the opportunity to be given extra credit because if for some reason we could not get it done we could always find a way to make up for the marks lost which is very comforting to know. 

How will I personally Time and Remind myself?

I am very forgetful when it comes to remembering the due dates of an assignments which is why whenever I can I try to put an alarm or reminder on my phone so it goes off around the time or day the assignments is due also whenever I am given information I tend to note it down on my phone because it is very portable and easy to use at any place, It also makes for good proof whenever images are needed for the subject or topic at hand.

When I think of the tools that are needed for CDM it is very hard to pin point and really know because the fact of the matter is that In the world of Technology it is more than likely that everyone has there own tool in mind because, it is always changing, upgrading and becoming obsolete all the the same time. I can only tell you the tools that are being used at this day and age currently and the main tools that are useful for CDM (Creative Digital Media) would be as follows:

Graphic Editor Tool

This tool is a Graphic Editor it is used for editing images and making very creative thumbnails or adjusting the images taken originally that you would like to have tweaked a little bit.

Video Editor Tool

This tool is a Video Editor it is used for making videos, films and It is also known as the Industry standard used to make Oscar Winning Shows and movies that you see in the cinema on a daily bases.

Other Software

There are also other countless software's that has multiple uses that would be more than beneficial for the community to use and make unlimited amount of discoveries and objects but if you are an expert and you want to go into detail and make everything Original by yourself I would recommend you get Creative Cloud because it has everything you want and need to invent, create and much more! I think you should get it if you really serious about being a YouTuber, Movie Maker or even if you would like to do very professional skits with your friends and without any of the annoying watermarks and it will give you a change to learn how to do the effects from scratch and master/craft your skill.

Assignment

My Side on the Assignment🤔

I am very interested to see where this goes because I like the vibe and good energy that I am getting and It feels good to be able to mark our own assignments on what we think is acceptable as good standard.

I find that the information given is a lot easier to understand compared to last year because it had a lot of sitting at the desk and hearing the lecture talk for ages but now we can use technology to make it more entertaining for everyone, it made it very fun to watch videos full of information without being overwhelmed by the amount of students in the class because we can do it at home at our own pace.

This is a topic that I am most excited to learn because I did not know that we would be using this software I have always been very eager to learn how to make games using unity and I think it will be a very good asset in terms of making our own games as a community standard game making software. I do not know what to expect but I am sure it will be very big and I will be very successful in my task to make a game.

I am very surprised about the fact that we had to make blogs and learn the basic in's and out's of  how to be a good blogger and then we can also look at our other classmates blog and give them a feedback on the information that their own page and let them know what they should improve on which I am looking forward to.

I am not sure about the genre I am going to be doing for my game but I am still excited to get started and learn about the basics of Unity

I am looking forward to getting feedback when my game is in development so I could know what would help people be on common ground for my Game.

Growth Mindset

My thoughts on the Growth Mindset Topic

I think that they raised a good point about how we feel like society wants us to be getting straight A's and already reaching our peaks at such a young age and I think that puts plenty of stress upon us as students because we are to afraid to make any mistakes that we do not even bother trying. I feel like YET should be a way we are taught because that way we can always get it wrong and be told what we did wrong and where to go from that mistake.

What I learned?

I feel like they are right about the mind set of people because if we thought of a challenge as a comfort zone that would be very different approach because we would be less scared about not figuring out the answer and more on brainstorming ideas to get passed it.

Increase your knowledge by mistakes rather than being silenced by fear.

As a YouTuber I try to make sure that I am a positive role model and I keep my Content PG and if not I have a setting to prevent children. I am also working on my type of content that I post and wondering between topics to see which one I am interested in as well as which one gets the most responses in the community or fan base, It is very hard as you must be an active poster and keep everyone engaged at all times while having to balance your everyday life and work. I always have to make sure whatever I upload does not break the YouTube rules and regulations or else I could be facing a copyright strike or an immediate termination of my account. It is very important that you know the rules before you start making content, Nobody knows the struggles and intense grind needed to become very successful on YouTube and the tireless research to follow the trends and stay relevant but If you make it I recommend keeping it simple and entertaining.

WorkShop 1

The Adventure Of Workshop 1

On my first day in the workshop I was very excited at first because I knew what we were going to be doing and covering in this year's semester so I was coming to the class with an open mind.

Quick Introduction

The very first task we had was just to ease us into the first week and ask us personal questions about what we enjoyed the most and least and self reflect on our flaws.

We were then asked if we know anything about the module which I thought was pretty self explanatory because of the name of the course but as the class went on I got a little confused because I was not prepared for the task given in the class and neither was my class mates.

First Task

 Traffic Light Exercise

I was very surprised and confused because I did not know what it was trying to show. I assumed it was a trick question because it looked so simple and straight forward which made it even more intimidating.

It turns out we had to explain how the traffic lights work in flowchart form which was very challenging and more of a pain to figure out but it was all to show that everything has an order and in order for one to work all must play its part.

Is this topic familiar or new?

I found this topic new and refreshing because It gives you an insight of what we learn without doing a lot of talking. I learnt that this is a complete change to 1st year subjects.

How the delivery was?

I think it was very simple and made it easy to connected because there was a lot of visual appeal in the topic.

Reflection?

I think it was simply amazing and it was very lively because everyone has their own idea or information on the task which lead to different overviews that sparked new questions.

Favorite Game

My Favorite Game is Roblox

Roblox is a Game where you can show off your skill and be anything.

What is this game about?:
The game is really a place where you can show your own creativity and build games of your own and let other players play your game and start communities around it as well as play their own games, you can be whoever you want to be and do basically anything you want within reason.

What does the game look like in game play?
It does have a similar feel to minecraft but it is way to advanced and has a realistic movement flow.
